Customized Fine Blanked System for your Application Needs

We recently worked with one of the premier supplier worldwide of fine-blanked parts. The challenge was to provide a machine capable of efficiently deburring high volume, stamped components. Annual volumes were specified at 15 million parts. Of course this did not stop us.

 Custom Deburring Machinery
Working with the customer, we applied our decades worth of deburring expertise and machine building skills to produce the finest automated system available for deburring fineblanked parts. Because fineblanking produces a burr just on one side of the part, we designed a 3 planetary head system for parts ranging from .40mm to 3mm thick. The machine applies 3 custom designed 254mm abrasive flap disc on the first head to remove the primary burr and 6, 254mm abrasive filament disc brushes on the subsequent 2 heads for edge radiusing and surface finishes.


There are numerous technological advances on this machine, some of which are: 

  • - Proprietary automated brush wear compensation- Ensures optimal part finish and maximizes brush life.
  • - Cantilevered main conveyor - for easy conveyor belt change & servicing.
  • - Automated lubrication- ensures continuous lubrication for all moving components.
- Motors and control systems isolated from coolant spray- Extends life of components.





Machine has been designed to be used either as a bulk fed machine (operator fed or robot fed) or as part of a process line being fed directly by the upstream press.


The machine communicates with the press, the centralized coolant system and downstream conveyor systems to ensure safe, efficient, and effective part processing.
