Ingredients - Polyhexamethylene dodecandiamide (Nylon 612) with 40% or less inert abrasive
grit

Physical information - @ 208-215 degrees C, Insoluble, specific
gravity-1.16-1.26
·
Fire & Explosion information - Flash Ignition Temp. - 400 degrees
C, use water, carbon dioxide foam or dry chemicals to extinguish
·
Health Hazard information - Registered trade name is not considered a
hazardous material. Ingestion is not a
probable route of exposure & inhalation is not respirable. First Aid:
Flush eyes with plenty of water & consult a physician if symptoms
persist.

Hazardous Reactivity - reactivity is considered stable. Should avoid heating above 340 degrees
C. Avoid strong acids, bases &
oxidizing agents. Material will decompose
when exposed to carbon monoxide & when overheated with ammonia & aldehydes.

Disposal procedures - Material has a very low toxicity and
should be swept up to prevent a slipping hazard. When disposing or incinerated, material
should be dealt with in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Special Protection procedures - Material should have a local exhaust at processing
equipment to keep particulate below 15 mg/m3 (OSHA limit for particulates not
otherwise regulated). Safety glasses
should be worn along with gloves for the hands.

Medical Use - Material should not be used in medical applications
involving permanent implantation in the human body.
